In freestyle Motocross the most frequently used dirt bike is a 250 2 stroke. It depends on the rider though. Some (but not a lot) use 125s, 250s, and 450s.
A free style motocross bike can be 50-150 lbs or 22.8-68.2kg, depending on size.
For professional motocross, the biggest bike that is allowed to be raced is a 450 four-stroke. For local race purposes there is a Vet class that allows any size bike to be raced (usually up to 525 since that's the biggest motocross bike that KTM makes).
size of the engine
the speed depends on how well tuned the bike is and also the size of the engine.
your best bet is buying a used dirt bike but it also depends on the size you want.
Pretty much all BMX bikes are the same size - 20 inch wheels.
A 150 to a 250 honda. Motocross? maybe a 200cc
A 50cc dirt bike doesn't technically have a weight limit. There are many full grown adults weighing in excess of 200 pounds which own and ride dirt bikes of this engine size.
It means cubic centimeters it refers to the engine size..
motocross is a very expensive sport. gear price ranges from 10 dollars, to almost 1,00 dollars. the bikes are more expensive, paying atleast 7,400 for a brand new full size bike.
Well it really depends on what size of dirt bike you get. For example: if you get a 50cc bike it will mabe go 20mph, but if you get a 450 it could go from 50 to 60 mph. so to get a definite answer go to your dirt bike companies website, and look at the bikes facts.
It depends on the size of the engine. 50cc sounds good.
Dirt Bike or Street? Dirt Bike 250cc will be okay if you are beginner. It really goes by skill level. 4-Stroke motocross bike 250cc will be plenty. You will be able to jump everything. Street, you will outgrow it very quickly.
20" or 24" wheel bikes may be suitable. 24" bikes will be better for getting around but are not true BMX's (street trick or dirt race bikes) True BMX bikes are measured in Top Tube Length- all BMX's hav00e approximately the same standover. 24" BMX bikes are considered "dirt cruisers" with the exception of a handful of street trick bikes made for adults over 6'
depends on the size of the bike...... my yz 250f holds about 25l when full.... bigger bikes hold more and visaversa for smaller bikes..
What do you mean? I can probably answer any question involving Motocross (Motorbike racing) but do you mean how do you participate? Well, the way I race, is I go to big national races, where a bunch of other people race too, against me, but only in my class, (bikes around my size and people my age) and we race dirt bikes, basically some people only race for the fun of it, but some people only race for the prizes. If this wasn't your question or not a good answer, I'm sorry.
For a 13 year old it depends on your size and your experience with dirt bikes, but an 85 is usually the best size bike and fastest for a 13 year old. Unless you are really tall which you would need a 125.
A dirt bike can range from 100-300 pounds. It all depends on the size of the engine, the large 530cc bikes will weigh the most while the small 50cc bike will weigh the least.
The BMX bikes that you buy at Target and or Walmart are not the same BMX bikes that are used in BMX Racing and BMX Freestyle. Real BMX bikes are lighter, they have diiferent size sprockets among many other things. Feel free to google the National Bicycle League or the American Bicycle League to get more information.
You didn't specify what size but most dirt bikes will run a gap of 0.5-0.6 mm.
Dirt bikes come in many different sizes are depending are the size you are. There are different sizes for example: 50cc, 80cc, 110cc, 125cc, 150cc, 250cc, 450cc.
I think both bikes are same in power and specs. no i ment size not speed
go to a motorcycle store and ask what kind for your bike, give them size year and if its a two or four stroke, and if its a two tell them if its for the engine of gas mix
It depends on the the size/model, how fast/type of riding, but(aprox)... 100/125cc - 50miles 250+cc - 80-120miles
If you are talking about small engines like motorcycles, snowmobiles, dirt bikes ect. cc would be cubic centimeters.CC is how the size of the engine is measured.More CC is a bigger engine.
