To play softball you need cleats, pants, socks, and a jersey (or T-shirt if its practice). Also shorts, sliding shorts, and sliding pads may be substituted for pants. You will want the sliding pads to cover your knees so when you slide you wont get hurt as easily.

∙ 14y agoI think you should wear shorts or jeans, a cute top (tank top or t-shirt) and flats or cute, nice flip flops. You can also wear sneakers, like everyone else. Dont forget to bring a hoodie sweater just in case it gets cold. Oh! Sunblock will help a lot also! Good Luck!

∙ 12y agoobviously a uniform but uniforms can vary. Some uniforms have razor back tank tops while other are more like Baseball uniforms meaning the button down the front and have sleeves. Also you can wear slider shorts with the uniform shorts or you can wear softball pants which have elastic at the bottom. Then you put long socks with them. Lasty always wear cleats. In 16u and 18u metal cleats are not acceptable.
