The sector nine 9 star is the best board because it can go extremely fast and not speed wobble. It's a drop through so you can carve really well on it.

Basically cruising just means casual riding. Carving refers to swerving while riding a hill, the G-Forces of the carve make it fun, and it slows you down, similar to cutting while skiing/snowboarding. Bombing is when you assume a locked aerodynamic position (usually low on the board) and ride a hill as fast as you can, for speed. There are other trick carves also, google them if i didnt get it.

There is no best or worst Sector 9 longboard, or any longboard for that matter. This answer is all about preference and riding style. If you are into downhill the best board will be different from someone into carving. I am personally into downhill and I like the new Sector 9 Downhill Division boards, they are really nice.
