∙ 14y agoThrough Super Bowl XLIII, no quarterback has started and won Super Bowls for two different teams. But there have been QBs on rosters of two different teams that have won Super Bowls.
1) Earl Morrill backed up John Unitas in Super Bowl V for the Baltimore Colts and Bob Griese in Super Bowls VII and VIII for the Miami Dolphins.
2) Jeff Rutledge backed up Phil Simms in Super Bowl XXI for the New York Giants and Mark Rypien in Super Bowl XXVI for the Washington Redskins.
3) Matt Cavanaugh backed up Joe Montana in Super Bowl XIX for the San Francisco 49ers and Jeff Hostetler of the New York Giants in Super Bowl XXV.
4) Jim McMahon started for the Chicago Bears in Super Bowl XX and backed up Brett Favre of the Green Bay Packers in Super Bowl XXXI.
