well if you wanna make one from scratch it would be hard 1.6 or 7 plys of thin wood preferably maple or bamboo 2.a mould or 2 skateboard decks 3.metal to weld trucks 4.metal to weld bearings (this would be hard and is not advised just buy good bearings like reds or cheapshot if u on a budget) 5.just buy a set of good wheels to 6. to make the deck use the wood put wood adhesive on each side glue them together put them in the mould or clamp the 2 decks on the top and bottom and leave overnight cut shape with a jigsaw and drill holes then spray paint design put trucks whells ect. on and skate

Firstly, obviously you would need a threading "die" and a die handle the type of thread a skateboard axel is im not sure maybe metric/imperial to find the correct die you would have to use a thread guage first. In order to get a good cut you need to have it on square and use some cutting compound. VOODOO 13: I use the REFLEX UTILITOOL skateboard multitool it has a built-in thread die to rethread your trucks.
