The most comprehensive and up to date information is about specific field houses. Gonzaga has the best home record with a 95% win rate; however, it's field house has been open for only 7 years, however. If you consider field houses open for at least 10 years, the best record belongs to Xavier, followed closely by Wisconsin-Madison. If you consider field houses open at least 20 years, the best record belongs to Kentucky followed by Michigan State and UCLA.
I see that a lot of people put that UCLA has the longest streak in history which is incorrect. The University of Kentucky Wildcat's actually hold the record for the longest winning streak at their home court with 129 straight wins. This happened while Adolph Rupp was head coach and the streak lasted from 1943-1955 when UK finally lost to Georgia Tech 59-58 at Memorial Col. Kentucky also holds the current record at 47 straight wins.

as of 12/02/2010, Kansas has the longest current home winning streak at 64 games. Current (prior to KU's win against UCLA as of this writing) can be found at http://web1.ncaa.org/stats/StatsSrv/rankings?sportCode=MBB&doWhat=showstreaks&division=1 For all-time streaks, here is a quasi answer, but Kentucky IMHO should have an asterisk as they have a history of being less than honorable during these years. http://www.mikebond.org/2009/11/21/top-ten-ncaa-college-basketball-home-winning-streaks/
In 2008, the longest winning streak for the Seattle Mariners was four games. It ran from August 29th through September 1st.
