This is more of an opinion question. I would say that Joe Torre was most successful as a manager, because he led them to the postseason for 12 straight years, winning 4 World Series and 6 AL Pennants. Managers Joe McCarthy and Casey Stengel have each won 7 World Series for the Yankees.
