No. But if they make the shot while being fouled, that does count as a made shot. IF YOU ARE BLACK YOU SHOULD NO THIS
In college and in the NBA if someone is fouled they have to shoot free throws. Only time I can see if they get another player to shoot is if the player that was fouled gets fouled very, very hard, if he gets knocked out or has to go to the hospital and is seriously hurt, they may let another person take his place, or give the team two points, most likely to make it fair, they'll get another person to shoot. But I've never seen that kind of stipulation before.
In a game of basketball, you shoot a free throw if you get fouled. Therefor you shoot the ball on your own. But anyone can get fouled and shoot a free throw! Hope this helps(:
A free throw line in basketball is the line where the players who are fouled get to shoot the ball.
i means when u get fouled that u make the shot when you get fouled then you go to the line to shoot a free throw and you make it
you get to shoot 1 free throw
A free throw line is the line players shoot from when they are fouled while shooting or fouled when the opponents have 4 team fouls.
No - once a player has fouled out of the game he/she is disqualified and not permitted to perform any role on the court.
Thare are only 2 shots that you get on a free freethrow shot in basketball.
No it is not a shot attempt.
When you get fouled within the 3 point line you shoot 2 shots behind the free throw line. If you get fouled on a 3 pointer you get 3.
Penalties are given in a different way in basketball than in football. Someone who commits a foul will have a foul added to their stats, and then the fouled person will shoot foul shots.
A free throw is when you get fouled and you get to shoot 2 free shots. if your shot goes in, you'll get 1.
No the player can not.
love the basketball...protect the basketball...shoot the basketball
If the refs make that big a mistake, then they shouldn't be reffing. That usually NEVER happens in a game. If it does, however, the proper player MUST shoot both free throws (the only time that another player who wasn't fouled can shoot is if the player fouled is injured).
You receive a free throw when someone fouls you on a shot attempt. You will receive two free throws if you attempted a two point field goal, three for a three point field goal, and if you make the shot while being fouled (two or three), you will get one free throw. If a team has 4 team fouls (four fouls committed total by one team in one quarter), a player will shoot two free throws when fouled when they are not shooting. One player is chosen to shoot a free throw when a technical foul is given, which usually results from unsportsmanlike conduct.
Lines on a Basketball The reason why there are lines on a basketball is to improve a player's grip making it easier to dribble and shoot the ball. The lines on basketballs make them easiar to grab and hold, allowing players to shoot, dribble, and pass better.
Illegal contact. And the fouled player would have to shoot free throws if the foul happened during the act of shooting.
being taller makes it easier to shoot over players
Mostly can they shoot and score.
You must be fouled.
