Reilly was a well know dealer with a London address. It seems unlikely that he actually made guns, rather marked those which he sold. 4 bores are quite collectible because their huge size always evokes comments. I don't think anyone can give you an accurate value without photographs and a more detailed description, but it is certainly on the high side of $1000, possibly a multiple there of. The market for big-bore shotguns, notably 4 and 8 bores, has measurably grown in the last few years, so if your Reilly is indeed as good conditioned as you say and appeals to a collector, it could be worth significantly more than $1000, either side of the Atlantic! I recommend you take a look at the recent 4 bore results in the Holts or Bonhams sales to get a guage although condition, originality and provenance are everything. A tatty, pitted, heavily scarred, repaired or poorly renovated 4 bore could be virtually worthless. I am a keen Reilly collector so could also be interested!
