The strike zone.
The strike zone
Good strategies for a pitcher at any level are; throwing strikes, every successful pitcher must throw strikes to be effective. Keep the ball in the lower half of the strike zone, especially with off speed pitches. Finally its very important to work ahead, or throw strikes early in the at bat, that puts the pitcher in control and allows him to throw what he wants where he wants.
well, for me iam actually a pitcher so i know my pitches and that helps me alot but if you are not a pitcher all you have to do is concertrate and time the throw and do not swing at anything outside the strike zone and i am not the tallest all so ihave a small strike zone but just watch the ball
A pitcher is the person who stands in the center of the infield and "pitches" or throws the ball over the home plate. He tries to get the ball past the person who is at bat. He is responsible for keeping them from scoring, but he has the help of the other players.
yes, if a pitch is goes anywhere that's not in the strike zone its a ball. for example the pitcher could throw it straight up in the air and it would be a ball
No
Great question. The pitchers command means that his pitches are doing what he wants them to do. If his intent is to throw a curve ball, then the ball will curve. The pitcher has control when the pitches he throws are staying in the strike zone like he wants. If he wants to throw a ball, then he is throwing balls. your curveball can curve, your breaking ball can break, your slider will slide, and your fastball is fast.... however if you can't get it over the plate ( or reasonably within range), you have no control.
Have your pitcher only focus on the strike zone. Have him/her think they are a hunter. A hunter looks into the scope and looks straight down the barrel. In this case the barrel is the line from the pitcher's eyes to the strike zone. If he or she looks at the strike zone and the catcher's glove only, they should not have a problem with hitting batters.
you can get it in safari zone deep in the safari zone but be careful it is hard to get it the tactic maybe throw something you do nothing just wait
Throw Safari Balls at it.
no
Just throw park balls in the safari zone dont throw rocks or bait because it will flee
