i am biased cause i am from detroit, but i consider it game 6 of the 1987/88 finals in l.a. against the lakers, isiah thomas scored 25 points in 3rd quarter (finals record for points in a quarter) and with the pistons up by 1 in final minute, a phantom foul was called on bill laimbeer against jabbar (replay shows he never even touched him) they ended up winning cause if those foul shots 103 to 102!! my blood still boiles!! and to make things worse they lose game 7 with a banged up thomas 108 to 105 and with i belive 3 seconds left on clock, pistons inbounded the ball upcourt for 1 last shot and half the fans were on court? with still 1 second remaining?? would have been a shot well beyond the 3 point line, but pistons didnt even get a chance cause of all the fans on court?? now days? that would not have been allowed! would put time back on clock and get fans off the court! so either game i consider the worse loss of nba finals! (cause of officiating) if asking about the worse blowout in nba finals? it was 2007/08 celtics over lakers 131-92 - but the worse loss? i consider it 87/88 pistons getting robbed by laker refs!!
