In Bowling the term used when knock down all the pins is "Strike".
It depends on where you go. Most Bowling centers will sell you used pins. All you have to is go in and ask how much they are.
Ten.
There are 10 pins in regular bowling.
There are four (4) bowling pins in the back row of pins in one bowling lane.
There are ten pins in ten pin bowling as that is the nature of that sport. In 5 pin bowling, there are 5 pins.
Besides the obvious (as targets in the sport of bowling), wooden bowling pins have been used for such things as making the bases of lamps, as balusters in a balustrade, and by the police et. al. for target shooting practice.
Bowling pins weight between 3 pounds 6 ounces and 3 pounds 10 ounces.
That depends on how heavy your bowling ball is. If it is a 6 pound ball, it will not knock down as many pins as you would want it to. If you had a 14 pound ball, chances are you will knock down more pins with a heavier bowling ball.
There are ten pins in tenpin bowling. That is why it is called ten-pin bowling.
