Can't answer the specific question, but I can tell you the original price. I was living in L.A. at the time, saw an ad placd in the L.A. Times allowing you to order tickets for the ALF-NFL Championship game (it wasn't yet known as the Super Bowl). Purchased the top price tickets - they cost $12. The Coliseum wasn't sold out...there were tickets available and empty seats! Each league had it's own television contract so two networks televised the game. The Grambling College band was spectacular during the halftime. My memory is a little faulty on this next tidbit so perhaps someone else can verify it. It seems that the halftime show went over the alloted time and the networks were not yet back from their commercial breaks. As a result, the networks missed televising the second half kickoff, so they kicked off a second time! Actually brought the ball back and did it again! Can you imagine that happening today?
