In 1977 the Australian team toured England playing 5 Test Matches and 3 One Day Internationals (ODI) a total of 27 matches including County sides. The Australian Captain was Greg Chappell. England won 3 of Tests and 2 matches were drawn.

Unfortunately the series took place during a dispute between the Australian Cricket Board and Kerry Packer's Television company Nine Network, which led to the ACB refusing to select players who had supported Packer, this led to a much weakened touring party.

A 1977 cricket bat signed by both teams would not fetch the same value as one which contained the Autographs of the missing leading Australian players, I would value the bat if in good condition with legible signatures and around 250£, of course if it was match used say from the 2nd Test at Old Trafford, which England won by nine wickets, then the bat would be worth more.
