The value of your baseball cannot be determined without knowing the 10 players that signed it. The 1946 World Series featured the St. Louis Cardinals beating the Boston Red Sox 4 game to three. A 1946 St. Louis Cardinals team signed baseball with the key signatures: Musial, Schoedienst, Kurowski, Slaughter, Walker, Garagiola, and Pollet is worth about $500.-$700. A Boston Red Sox team signed baseball with the key signatures: Cronin, Doerr, Pesky, DiMaggioo, Williams, and Ferriss is worth about $300.-$450. Value is based on average prices of recently closed auctions. Prices may vary based on condition, and the type of authenticity that accompanies the baseball. Prices may also vary based on the number of signatures, and key signatures acquired. The more complete the baseball with key signatures the more valuable. If your multi signed baseball is a combination of players of both teams it might have less of a value. If the signatures are not properly authenticated the baseball could sell at half the market value or less.

1946 Wold Series Signed BaseballYou did not mention if the Baseball was signed by one team or the other, or a combination of players from both teams. If it is a combination of both teams it could have less value than a single team. You may estimate the value by using the key signatures listed below.

A 1946 St. Louis Cardinals Team Signed Baseball with the key signatures: Musial, Schoedienst, Kurowski, Slaughter, Walker, Garagiola, and Pollet is worth about $500.-$700.

A 1946 Boston Red Sox Team Signed Baseball with the key signatures: Cronin, Doerr, Pesky, DiMaggioo, Williams, and Ferriss is worth about $300. -$450.

Value is based on average prices of recently closed auctions. Prices may vary based on condition, and the type of authenticity that accompanies the baseball. Prices may also vary based on the amount of signatures, and key signatures acquired. The more complete the baseball with key signatures the more valuable.

If the signatures are not properly authenticated the baseball could sell at half the market value or less. For more information on team signed baseballs, links to full team rosters, key signatures, and price guide See Related Links below.

1946 World Series Baseball

Regular season baseballs were used in World Series play until 1978 when Rawlings began to make specially marked baseballs that featured the World Series logo.

A Ford Frick Official National League Baseball from 1946 is worth about $250.-$300. in excellent -near/mint condition. A William Harridge Official American League Baseball from 1946 is worth about $400.- $500. in excellent -near/mint condition. If the baseball you have is in used condition, it could have a lower value based on the condition, accordingly.

The added value as a 1946 "World Series game used" baseball will rely on your ability to prove so. Otherwise it will be valued as a used Major League Baseball as stated above. The "WS Game used baseball" will have to be accompanied with provenance, and the quality of the provenance will dictate the value. A letter from a player, team, or League official would be acceptable. A letter from a fan at the game would not hold much weight if any. Without provenance the added value will rely on the buyers belief in your story.

1946 World Series Teams signed baseballIf the baseball was signed by one team or the other it would have a higher value than a combination of players from both teams. The value will still come down to the key signatures that appear on the ball. You may estimate the value by using the key signatures listed below.

1946 St.

Add for inscriptions. The 1991 World Series baseball could add some value, but the bulk of the value will still rely on the condition of the signature. What is the value of one of the balls that was use in the perfect game from the 1956 World Series signed by Don Larsen and Mickey Mantle?

The value of multi signed baseballs cannot be priced by the value of each signature added up. Multi signed baseballs are valued as a group of signatures, and how desired that group is as a whole. This does not necessarily mean that two signatures will sell for less than one, but in most cases it does, or at least not the full value of the two signatures added up. A Don Larsen Mickey Mantle dual signed baseball would be worth about $250. -$400. Value is based on average prices of recently closed auctions. Prices may vary based on condition, and the type of authenticity that accompanies the baseball. Signatures that have not been properly authenticated could sell at half the market value or less. Because the baseball was used in the world Series it might have a lower value based on condition. A clean white baseball would be most preferred for the signatures. Without being able to prove that the baseball is from the 1956 World Series, it cannot be sold as such. Any added value will rely on your ability to prove it is a World Series baseball, or the buyers belief in your story.

What is the value of an original 1932 World Series Game Five baseball that was signed by Ruth Gehrig and three others and personalized to an umpire?

A Babe Ruth, Lou Gehrig dual signed baseball is worth about $15,000. -$30,000. Price will vary based on the type of baseball signed, condition of both the baseball and signatures, and what type of authenticity that accompanies the signatures. Signatures that have not been properly authenticated could sell at half the market value or less. The "three other" signatures on your baseball would normally bring the value down But, if the inscription to the umpire refers to the 1932 World Series it could have added value. In an auction held in May of 2007 a pristine example of this dual signed baseball sold for $33,460. and another sold for $26,290. in October 2007 an excellent dual signed Ruth Gehrig baseball signed with the quotation marks around "Babe" that typifies his pre-1928 autograph sold for $14,340.

Walter Johnson signed baseball from World Series 1924?

A Walter Johnson single signed baseball is worth about $4,000.-$8,000.Value is based on average prices of recently closed auctions. Prices may vary based on condition, and the type of authenticity that accompanies the signature. Signatures that have not been properly authenticated could sell at half the market value or less. Add for inscriptions. If the baseball was used in the 1924 World Series it could lower the value based on condition. A clean white baseball would be most preferred for the signature. Without being able to prove the baseball was used in the Series it would just be a vintage used baseball. If Johnson inscribed the baseball "1924 WS" it will have added value.
