In general depending on the condition of the bat, and size it could be worth about $150. -$250. If in better than excellent -near/mint condition it could sell for sell for more.
The H&B model 9 was one of the least expensive store model bats made available to the public. The bats having the same players endorsements as the models 125 and 40, yet will always appear in block letters instead of script. They first retailed for about .50 when the 125 model retailed for over $2. The quality of the wood was the biggest reason for the price difference and these model 9's along with the model 8 and 14 were all at the bottom of the H&B quality scale which was still a good bat for the money. They also supplied these model bats to other large retailers using store names such as J.C. Higgins for example.

Hillerich & Son co." so the bat you have that reads "Hillerich & Bradsby" should be dated between 1916-1920s The "J.F. Hillerich & Son" # 7 bat is dated before 1911. After 1911 they added "co." to the end of the name "J.F. Hillerich & Son" and I know of a King of the field #12 bat that dates to this 1911-1916 era. The bat might have had a decal on the barrel, and the price on a decal bat relies mainly on the condition of the decal. Because you thought the bat reads "Lerich & Bradsby" the bat might be in bad condition, and the decal might be totally worn off. Condition is important and if this is the case it will only sell at about 25% of the $200.-$275. price that the bat might be worth, if it had a full decal. The #12 bat I mentioned above sold for $200. with 70% of the original decal intact. Either way it sounds like you have a nice 1916/1920s era store model bat.
