the technique for rowing sculling is pretty simple. you are just trying to acheive the perfect stroke and do that over and over again.
when you sit at the finish (with your oars touching you) you push your oars out until your arms are completely extended. then you rock over to about a 45 dgree angle. then you move to to quarter slide, and from there you are just rolling in at the exact same position so the front (called the catch).
practice this broken up at first so do arms away and the that with body rock and then that with quarter slide and then full slide making sure you reach out at the catch to get the longest stroke possible
