Haunting at Home Plate is a mystery novel written for young adults. In it, Nelson, a 12 year old player on the Dodgers team, manages to recruit his 19 year old cousin Mike (a young woman) to fill in as coach after their original coach is dismissed. Signs of a haunting begin to appear in the ballpark, but as the mystery of the haunting becomes darker, the team finally pulls together under Mike's leadership.
