historaclly taller people don't run as fast as shorter people. Usain Bolt is an exception. in the world of sprinters the fastest people are all in the 5'10-5'6 range. even on the distance side. this is due to the efficiency of shorter stride lengths but having high turnover. to do a project to prove/disprove this. find maybe 20-40 world class sprinters and find their heights and compare their times. do the same with distance runners see what happens

The best people to ask for help on a science project would be science teachers and professors at school. Depending on the complexity of the project, a family member or friend may be able to assist as well.
If your talking about steps yes. But my science teacher said shorter and leaner people can run faster and longer than the taller and bigger people because they have smaller steps= faster and more coordinated steps on the other hand, taller and bigger people have more weight to carry around if it's bone mass or just (sorry if I offend anybody) fat Hope I helped!!
