Peking
The Beijing National Aquatics Center is better known as "the Water Cube" (水立方), built alongside Beijing National Stadium in the Olympic Green for the swimming competitions of the 2008 Summer Olympics.
It was known in the recent past as Peking.
The modern name of Peking, China is Beijing, China. It was formerly known as Peking due to the way the Chinese alphabet was being translated at the time.
The older name was Peking.

The actual spelling is "Peking Duck," because Beijing used to be known as Peking, and so the duck is a famous Beijing dish. It literally can now be translated as "Beijing Duck,"
