I think no one ever tested it. A V10 Honda with slightly less than 1000bhp, with a custom low downforce setup, reached 413km/h. Given the huge amount of power of the 1.5l engine and the weight of just 540kg, I'd say we are around 430/440 km/h, but that's just pure guessing. There are too many factors that could influence the top speed of a car.
it realy does depend on which lotus you are looking at... however, speed has never been lotus's specialty, they are more familiar with the handling and acceleration aspect of a car, but they do exceed 135mph on the whole.
