the first car to reach 200 mph was the ferrari f40 . it went 201 before other cars could reach 200
the first awnser is wrong it was the Lamborghini Diablo in 1991.
Both wrong 1st road car was the Ford GT40 in 1966. The Ford gt40 made it to 217. If you want to get technical, the first answer is incorrect as well.
I would just like to add that we could also look at cars like the Mercedes C111 which hit 200mph (320 kph) in 1978. However this was not a production car because of the economic crisis at the time. We could also look at a modified, non-street-legal version of this car - the Merc C111-IV which hit 251mph (403kph) in 1979. These are all very impressive cars but hats off to the 330 P4!

-The Ferrari F40 was the first production, street legal, non-racing, factory car to reach speeds of over 200 mph. The 330 P4 was both race and street legal and was originally made for the track. The Ferrari F40 was made for the road originally. FYI, The Diablo was made in 1991, and the only reason it could go faster than the F40, was that the F40 had a big rear wing for handling and down force, causing it to slow down after about 165 mph. If the F40 and the Diablo were to race in a 1 mile drag, the F40 would be far ahead before the finish because of its far superior power to weight ratio. In my opinion, the Diablo is just an over-rated, heavy, underpowered, pile of crap that can only go 202 because of its extreme aerodynamic capabilities.
Actually, the first EVER car to hit 200 was the sunbeam 1000hp.
Sorry but you are all wrong. first production car to go 200 miles an hour was Dodge Daytona 1970 top speed of 240 miles an hour
corvettes reach 200mph, but the bugatti veyron reaches 250 mph stock!
The very first car ever made could do 2 mph so it reached mph.
1968' Dodge Charger Daytona
A Nascar Sprint Cup Series car can go from 0-60 in 2.9 seconds. Click on the link below for more information.
normally they dive at around 180 mph but they can reach speeds of 200-mph
peregrine falcon it's speed can reach 200 mph
From 120 mph to over 200 mph depending on the vehicle.
No, not even close. Their top speed is 50 mph. The Cheetah can do 70 mph. Many birds are faster than both. The falcon can reach 200 mph in a dive, and the Frigate Bird can reach 95 mph.
At 200 mph, a car would need to complete the 100 mile course in 30 minutes or less. At 100 mph, the car with engine problems would have already been on the course for 30 minutes. It would already be disqualified at that point.
depends what league, nascar cars can go up to 212mph! NHRA Top Fuel Drag racing drivers can reach speeds of almost 340 MPH The Driver maybe able to go 15 mph if Lucky. The car with driver however can do the speeds listed above.
About 10 seconds.
This question is a bet vague. It all depends on the model. The Murcielago can reach speeds of 202 mph while the baby lambo, the Gallardo can reach speeds of 200. The Reventon which may be lamborghini's best car can hit 212 easily.
