Why are Pittsburgh Steelers fans trash talkers?
I can't speak for every Steelers fan, but why trash talk when you've won six Super Bowls. The true fans aren't like that.

Why aren't Pittsburgh Steelers on national TV more often?
Because the NFL, as a huge company, has to spread the interest and fan base of every team. They can't show favoritism as that would be counter productive to their business. Truthfully the NFL should avoid coverage of teams with massive fan bases like the Steelers, Green Bay, and Dallas to encourage more fans to follow the teams with terrible fan bases like the Ravens, Texans, Bengals and Jacksonville.
