rythmic gymnastics is mostly dance, floor, choereography, ribbons, flexibility and poise. Whereas apparatus is about strength, flex, routine, perfection, statistics and knowing how to present your skills on the beam, bars, floor or vault.
(in mens case: rings, Pbars, metal bars, uneaven bars, floor, pommel and vault.
