What is the Difference between indoor volleyball and grass volleyball?

1.) Indoor has six players whereas Beach has 2 players.

2.) Indoor you can have a set spin when release and it doesn't necessarily count as a carry, but Beach it almost always does.

3.) Beach you can hold onto a set longer than in indoor, though.

4.) And, obviously Beach is played on sand while Indoor is played on a court.

Beach volleyball is harder than indoor volleyball because running and jumping in sand is very hard. But in beach it looks easier because the rallies are shorter because the courts are smaller since they are built for only two players and because the players cannot get to the ball quick enough. Indoor volleyball looks harder because the rallies are longer because the players are able to move around more easily allowing them to reach the ball quickly enough and to jump higher to hit the ball harder.

Beach volleyball is played on sand, regular volleyball is played on a hardwood court. Beach volleyball also has teams of two players rather than 6.
