Firstly the 16 is 2 inches longer. Secondly some say that this is where a paintball barrel overcomes the optimum barrel lenght and starts to use up more co2 to fire a paintball. Others claim this is at 18 inches. The exception to this are Tippmann's who waste a lot of C02 each shot, and have a velocity adjuster that does not change the amount the valve produces, but limits the amount the ball gets, the excess just gets blown out to a cyclone feed or response trigger or nothing if nothing is attached. This means they are technically more efficient with 18, 20, even 22 inch barrels, because you will play with velocity adjuster almost out, and will still shoot the proper fps.
The tactical edition has a 4 point butt stock and an 11 inch barrel and, M4- style barrel shroud. Otherwise it has no stock and a stock 8 inch Tippmann barrel.
The longest barrel that isn't ridiculous is 22 inch. It is a Carbon fiber barrel made by Paintball Assassins
The difference is that the Remington 1100 3 inch mag will take three inch mangnum loads and shorter where one that doesn't say 3 inch on the barrel will only take two and three quarter inch shotshells or smaller.Trying to put a three inch inch a gun that is not designed to will cause extreme stress on the barrel and will get jamed in a pump or automatic shotgun.
they will be about the same since they both have the same porting on them, between 12"-16" you wont see a performance or noise difference
A carbine has a shorter barrel than a standard rifle. I have a Winchester model 70 carbine in 270 win and there isn't really any difference between the 20 inch barrel and that of my Brother in law's standard length 24 inch barrel, performance wise.
To a small degree- maybe. The 1 more inch of barrel gives a higher speed to the bullet (more energy) and has a longer sight radius- distance between front and rear sights. But when fired from a machine rest there is very little difference in accuracy.
No it will not. the Handguard on the barrel is in the way of the handguard on the shroud.
None. A linear inch IS an inch.
Yes. The difference is that last little 16th of an inch.
no differnece
That would be a 1 inch difference. 16 inch is shorter then a 17 inch rim.
Although anything over 14 inches makes your marker less efficient, yes, it will fit.
