You have several O2 sensors on that vehicle and they are all threaded into the exhaust system at various points.

on my '03' 125SX the head bolts should be 18nm.
Are you sure it's a leaking exhaust? If you think it is, then get a new exhaust fitted! But are you sure it isn't diesel smoke coming off the exhaust due to leaking seals on one or more injectors? That's the favorite!
The BEST way is to buy a VR6 VW that was rolled, rear-ended, T-boned or otherwise wrecked in a way that didn't mess up the front of the car, and swap everything in front of the windshield between your car and the wrecked one. The best way that doesn't require you to be an ASE Master Technician is to change the chip in the ECU and replace the exhaust system.
