In Basketball, there is a 3 pointer line, beyond which a player gets 3 points instead of 2 if he nets. It gets more difficult to score when someone is standing far from the rim.

What is the 3-6 second rule?

It's a general rule for establishing a following distance from the car in front of you. As the car passes a fixed point on the road, it should take you 3 seconds or longer to reach that same point. In bad weather, increase that time to 6 seconds or longer.-Trevor Thompson(AZ) :)

What is the Rotation rule for 180 counter clockwise?

The rotation rule for a 180-degree counterclockwise rotation involves turning a point around the origin (0, 0) by half a circle. For any point (x, y), the new coordinates after this rotation become (-x, -y). This means that both the x and y coordinates are negated. For example, the point (3, 4) would rotate to (-3, -4).

What is the rule for a reflection across the origin followed by a translation 3 units to the right and 4 units up?

A reflection across the origin transforms a point ((x, y)) to ((-x, -y)). After this reflection, a translation of 3 units to the right and 4 units up shifts the point to ((-x + 3, -y + 4)). Therefore, the combined rule for the transformation is given by the mapping ((x, y) \to (-x + 3, -y + 4)).

What is the rule for rotation 90 degrees clockwise?

To rotate a point (x, y) 90 degrees clockwise around the origin, you transform the coordinates using the rule: (x, y) → (y, -x). This means the x-coordinate becomes the y-coordinate, and the y-coordinate becomes the negative of the original x-coordinate. For example, the point (2, 3) would rotate to (3, -2).
