There is one and it sits in front of St. Basil's Cathedral. It is a monument to Minin and Pozharsky. Prince Dmitry Pozharsky wounded in the course of an unsuccessful battle is looking into the distance learning against a shield with the image if the Savior...he prayed before this image in the Spaso-Evfimievsky Monastery before setting off on a campaign. The merchant Kuzma Minin-Sukhoruk is handing him a sword and asking him to protect the independence of Russia and banish the enemy from the homeland. Aglided inscription on the pedestal says "To citizen Minin and Prince Pozharsky from grateful Russia." Originally the monument was located in the center of Red Square opposite the main entrance to the Verkhnie Torgovye Ryady(GUM). Minin pointed his arm towards the Kremlin urging his comrade to liberate Moscow. Now, after moving the monument in 1931 the two national hero's stand behind the fence of St. Basil's and the meaning of the gesture has been lost. Inside the Kremlin there are many more statues, the Czars cannon, and one huge bell plus many palaces and churches. The place is huge. I was there last summer and was very surprised how big Red Square was and how big the Kremlin was. Also located next to the Kremlin wall is the the Tomb of Lenin. Which still holds the preserved body of Lenin.
