A sacrifice fly is credited to the batter only if a run scores. A runner who moves from second to third base does not result in a sacrifice fly for the batter.

A sacrifice fly is not counted as a time at bat [batter is 0 for 0] and the batter is credited with [at least 1] a run batted in.

The bobble is a moot point as the runner can tag up and run upon the first touch by the fielder. Otherwise, an outfielder could intentionally bobble/juggle a ball all the way back to the infield.

How many players are there in a softball team?

There are nine players out on the field at one time. Although the pitcher and catcher have the ball the most each person has a specific job. In the infield there is the pitcher, catcher, first base, second base, shortstop, and third base. In the outfield there is left fielder, center fielder, and right fielder. In slow pitch softball there is an extra fielder, who is specified as a rover. Normally, the defensive team will play with four outfielders, meaning there is a left fielder, left-center fielder, right-center fielder, and right fielder.

What is the short fielder position?

In slow pitch softball there are often 10 players on the field instead of the traditional 9. The 10th player is that short fielder, sometimes called a "rover", who plays in the outfield, usually at a shallow depth between the outfielders and infield. Most teams will shift the short fielder from right to left, depending on the batter. Generally speaking, right handed batters hit more balls to the left side of the field, so the short fielder moves more to that side, and vice versa for left handed batters.

Are the ways you hold a softball to pitch the same as holding a baseball to pitch?
