manual
You can change a manual transmission to an automatic. It can cost upwards of 3,000 dollars to do this for a Volkswagen Polo.
tacos ok manual is faster and if you want to know why just ask me
With a manual transmission you downshift to slow down in situations where in an automatic you would have to use the brakes. Using brakes more = brakes wearing faster.
There is no automatic way to change tires besides taking it to a service center. There are tools that can make it easier and faster, but no automatic way. You can get a vehicle lift and power sockets to make it faster, but it is still manual.
That depends on a few things. First, the cars must be identical except for one automatic and the other manual. Next, drivers must be identical, meaning persons whom drive stick shifts do so differently. For the automatic, will this person just punch it or shift from first to second to drive? Long example made short, in my opinion the manual will be faster because the driver determines at what rpm to shift, the automatic, well that is self explained.
you can get it with manual or automatic.
Vehicles with manual transmissions almost always have more net horsepower at the rear wheels. More power is siphoned off through the torque converter in an automatic transmission than through the clutch and pressure plate in a manual transmission, thereby giving you greater rear-wheel horsepower from a manual transmission. That being said, automatic transmissions shift from gear to gear faster than you are able to shift gears in a manual transmission, unless you are really, really good at speed shifting. :)
in some cases...but automatic shifts faster than most manual drivers ;) yes that is true but manual delivers more power due to manual transmissions using a completely mechanical connection to transfer power from the fly wheel to the tranny... if you have any questions just ask but you are rght on the first one but not talking about shifting the manual delivers more power because on an automatic power is lost going through a torque converter because of the liquid connection
No, automatic transmissions may shift faster than a manual transmission because it takes a lot of skill to race and change gears using a manual with a clutch, however, the manual transmission allows you to decide exactly when to shift for more speed at the times you need it and for better engine performance when done by a skilled, practiced, professional racer.
depends on are good you are at shifting, if you know what your doing a Manuel is fasterI disagree:A properly tuned automatic will always be faster than the manual gear box over the 1/4 mile drag race. The basic numbers come down to an automatic will never stop applying power to the wheels while a manual will for a split second. The problem comes in when we get to truly fast cars (8 seconds and faster) there are no automatics that can take this abuse and the manual box becomes the only choice.
automatic has faster accleration
Manual. They never used to have automatic.
