A racetrack is a course, designed for contests of speed. A BMX racetrack is built up by dirt. It snakes around a lot and has lots of bumps, jumps and banked turns. At one end there is an elevated platform which allows the riders to start down a steep slope to get up to speed even before they hit the track.
