You probably mean why is Basketball dangerous. Well you can get injured... Taller players have a higher chance of getting injured and breaking their bones. This is because the have bigger bones and the middle or centre of the bone is the weakest. When the player jumps and lands it can snap the bone. (Usually near the centre).

All sports involving physical activity can result in injury, sometimes serious injury. Whether a particular sport is "dangerous" depends on how you define "dangerous." Some are more dangerous than others. Basketball is one of the net games, and it's not particularly dangerous, because most of the activity is dribble, pass and shoot, does not involve intentional body contact. However, there is jumping and occasional unintentional body contact that can result in sprains, bruises, and even broken bones.
My opinion is football. I heard that basketball and bicking is dangerous. Always keep your eye on the street when bicking!
A light game of basketball first before weightlifting would be the conventional order. The game serves as a warm up, hence the emphasis on lght. If you exhaust yourself playing basketball, it would be both counterproductive and dangerous to attempt heavy lifting after-wards.
To say that one sport is better than another depends on who you ask. For instance some may say that football is more exiting than basketball while others may say it is more dangerous.

Why does football take place? Or basketball? Jousting was a sport. It was enjoyed by many at the time. In some cases, it was also a less dangerous way to settle conflict.
