There are several age grading calculators out there you can use to determine your level of running in relation to your age. For you, assuming an age of 48 - 49, then the following times would put you in the corresponding percentiles:

  • 50th percentile - 23 minutes 37 seconds
  • 60th percentile - 19 minutes 41 seconds
  • 70th percentile - 16 minutes 52 seconds
  • 80th percentile - 14 minutes 46 seconds
  • 90th percentile - 13 minutes 9 seconds
  • 95th percentile - 12 minutes 25 seconds

In the related links section you can check your time as a percentile as it progresses, inputing the distance, time and your gender and age.

However, the important thing is not to be discouraged by what other runners are doing and what you are running. What is important is to be consistent, stick at it, and keep on running with fun.

An IQ score of 108 is considered average, falling within the range of 85-115.
