The normal time for a typical 12-15 year old running a 400 meter (1/4 mile) is about 70-75 sec. I personally have seen 65 sec. That is pretty good.
My average time is about 1:12 and fastest is 1:08 and I'm starter in the 4x400 relay and I get 1st or 2nd in usually all open 400m dashes so I think that's pretty good for a 14yo girl at the middle school level (eighth grade). I know that in high school the competition is harder...I'll be trying to get a :60 or 1:05 around there come next spring (:
As a 14 year old girl running track, I'd say 58 is amazing, 60 is great, and 62 is good.
considering you are most likely a sophomore i would say a good time would be something from 53-56 seconds
A good 40 yard dash for a 14 year old would be playing DE, TE,or FB.
14. 56 is a good time
1min 10secs should be a good time
a 11.9 and lower is a good time
Around 13 seconds
If you are in the age between , 12-16 that is a very good time
His 5.0 40-meter dash translates to a time of 4.572 seconds in the 40-yard dash.
A reliable way to convert a hand-held 100-yard time to an electronic 100-meter time is to multiply the hh-time by 1.103. Therefore, 10.2 in the 100-yard dash time equates to an 11.25 100-meter dash time. Also, to convert an electronic 100-yard dash time to an electronic 100-meter dash time, multiply the first time by 1.088. For example, a 10.20 electronic 100-yard time equates to an 11.10 electronic 100-meter dash time.
I don't know, but my time was 13 seconds
a good time in the 70 meter dash for an olympic medalist would be about 6.8 to 7.6
