A 125 two stroke or 250 four stroke would be good power wise. Just make sure the bike fits for their physical size.
Not a lot of businesses will hire fourteen year olds due to the insurance issues. A good job for a fourteen year old is babysitting, or mowing lawns. Some towns still deliver newspapers by bike, which would be a good job if you have a bike or like to walk.
Depending on what make you get, either a 100, or 125.......

If you are just fourteen, you were born in 1995, but if you are fourteen already and have been since the end of last year, you were born in 1994
sounds pretty normal to me!
