59-60: average
55-58: good
54 or less: very good
Typically a middle school track team may have one or people that can run a sub 55 second 400 meter in which case they are the best on the team.
this is a little off i think if you run a 54 you could get first in state. under 60 is decent 57 or lower is what you should be aiming for
I disagree. I'm part of a slow district, but 54 in middle school is nuts. I'd say that very good is the range provided for "good" and the real number for good is around 59. Average would be anywhere from 60-64.
Dude... for 8th im the best in our conference thingy, and i got 56. 1:00-1:05 is acceptable. 1 to 58ish is getting pretty good, and under that is beast.
Well I'm in seventh grade and can run about a 1:03-1:04, but I suppose a good fifth grade time would be about 1:12-1:13.
My son's in the 5th grade (just 10) and he runs a 1.04. That is a very good time. How do you mean good though? I guess under 1.10 is good.
Yoshua Selvadurai ran 1 minute 4 seconds aged 9 years on the 28.8.2007. This is a world record.
The world record is 43.18. State champions run in the 47 or 48 seconds.
A good time however is in the mid to low 50's.
I'm not exactly sure, me and my friend from school are anchor and starter for the 4x400 relay and we get about 56 seconds, but most people average around 1 minute
if you are getting between 50 - 60 seconds you have a good time for a 15tn year old
58-60 seconds. A good time for a girl would be 62-64
depending on how fast you can run i'd say 3:00-3:30
it depends on the age group. 15 seconds is a decent time for a grade school 100 meter dash, but it would be a decent time for a high school 200 meter dash.
its alright
14. 56 is a good time
Well that time is a solid time, but if you were planning on running for college or the Olympics then no that wouldn't suffice. And it depends what grade you are in.
1min 10secs should be a good time
a 11.9 and lower is a good time
Thats about a 13.60 in a 100 meter. That's a very good time without any training.
no...
30 seconds
It all depends on your age. If your in sixth grade, than: 31-33 If your in seventh grade, than: 28-30 If your in eighth grade, than: 26-28
My son is in the 7th grade and just had his first meet. He ran the mile in 5:31 and finished 2nd.
