Yes. There are two "Fever Pitch" films; one is British and stars Colin Firth as a football/soccer-obsessed man. This one (released in 1997) is closest to the original autobiographical book of the same name by the author Nick Hornby, who also wrote "High Fidelity." There is an American film version of "Fever Pitch" from 2005 that stars Jimmy Fallon and Drew Barrymore that is loosely based on the original, although the sport obsession was changed to baseball.
