Avitene is a collagen hemostat (blood coagulant), most commonly used to stop or slow arterial bleeding during surgery.
Adrenaline (epinephrine). Used in a concentration of 1:1000. Safe when used topically. Natural chemical that will be absorbed in the open skin and decrease blood flow. (Newer Agents) Avitene.
