Description of AcrodunkingACRODUNKING is the brand of acrobatic slam dunk entertainment provided by the performance team known as ACRODUNK. Acrobatic slam dunking has been around since the early 1980's and in 1993, Jerry L. Burrell coined the term ACRODUNK and has been using it as the brand name for the type of acrobatic slam dunking that is higher, further and delivered with more flavor. ACRODUNKING is a combination of Basketball and acrobatics delivered by the members of ACRODUNK. The members of ACRODUNK also known as ACRODUNKERS jump off of mini trampolines and perform acrobatic stunts before dunking the basketball. Intricate passes are also performed where the members of ACRODUNK pass the basketball off the glass, off the ground or through the air prior to the last ACRODUNKER dunking the basketball. Highly skilled members of ACRODUNK also perform two-ball dunks and double flip passes. ACRODUNK, ACRODUNKER and ACRODUNKING are all service marks owned by Impact Entertainment, Inc.
