The Mets have used three stadiums as their home field-The Polo Grounds from 1962-1964, Shea Stadium from 1964-2008, and Citi Field from 2009-Present. The Polo Grounds, while used as the Mets' home stadium, was not built for the Mets. It was the New York Giant's field which the expansion team Mets used until Shea Stadium was built.
The last time the New York Mets won their home opener was on April 5, 2010. They defeated the Florida Marlins 7-1 at Citi Field.

The second home, Shea, is the Mets best known stadium and what fans think of when they hear "Mets Home". Shea also housed the Jets (1964-1983), Yankees (1974-1975) and Giants (NFL) in 1975. The current home of the Mets is Citi Field in Flushing Meadows, Queens.

There were only three New York Mets players who have participated in the Homerun Derby and they were 3B David Wright in 2013 which was held in Citi Field which was the Mets' home park and in 2006 in the Pirates' park of PNC Park, Bobby Bonilla in 1993 at the Baltimore's home field of Oriole Park at Camden Yards and Howard Johnson in 1993 at Toronto's home field of the Skydome.
The most likely site is Citi Field, the new home of the New York Mets since the 2009 season. The Mets haven't hosted an All-Star Game since 1964, their first season in Shea Stadium.
