The steady-state theory is a view that the universe is always expanding but maintaining a constant average density. It is now obsolete because observations have produced much contradictory evidence.

Steady state exercise: Submaximal physcial activity (working below lactate threshold), relies prodominantly on aerobic enery systems where ATP can be re-synthesised with little or no fatigue casuing anaerobic waste products. Dr Robert Clarke. RICS

It was a theory widely publicized in the early 20th century which was in competition with the single big bang theory. It stated that the universe was in a constant state of creation and destruction (multiple smaller big bangs was one school of thought in that theory). Since then, we now know that this isn't likely the case. While the universe is constantly creating and destroying at the moment, following the expansion of the universe, we believe that the creative processes are slowing because the expansion itself is speeding up from dark energy. Dark energy is something we don't understand completely either. Over time as we understand more we may change our minds and get new ideas how this works out.

How long has the universe existed going by the Steady State Theory?

The steady-state theory is obsolete - it is now known that the Universe does change over time (the Steady-State Theory states that it doesn't). According to the Steady-State Theory, the Universe has no beginning and no end.

How does red-shift support the steady state theory?

Red shift does not support the steady state theory.

What is this steady condition called?

In physiology, a steady state is called homeostasis.

What do you mean by steady state reactance?

If you use AC components (i.e. inductor or capacitor ) on DC circuit, they will initially behave different than at steady state. Steady state is the state in which the behavior is not changing with time. (theoretically after infinite time, practically within small time any ckt reaches steady state)

How do you find steady state heart rate?

To find steady state heart rate, subtract your age from 180, that's steady state. For example, 25 year old's steady state would be 155. This isn't 100% accurate, the best way would be to use lactate samples; however, this is the most practical.

When discovered the steady state theory and when?

Steady State is not a "discovery", it's a hypothesis that has been disproved. According to Steady State, the Universe in the past should look the same as it does now. Observations of far-away galaxies show that this is not the case.

What happens when a inductor reaches a steady state?

An inductor looks like a piece of wire to DC. It will thus look like a resistor, and inductor properties do not apply.
