Well, unfortunately a lot of damage can be done. People have lost teeth and even eyes when they have been hit with a Golf ball. Someone could easily be knocked unconscious, but the majority of body shots will cause a lot of pain and a huge bruise. If you are the one who struck the golf ball you are responsible, regardless if you shouted 'fore' or not, you can actually be taken to court, and if you do not have insurance you will have to pay.
Stand behind them several metres away if you are in the same group, or watch out for a ball if you are a spectator. Any decent golfer is courteous enough to let the group ahead of them finish the hole before shooting balls in their direction.
Shout 'FORE', some people point where the ball in heading with their club also.
It would just deflect off it, the outer layer of a golf ball is non conductive.
The face of the club.
Both do. A golf ball can bounce quite a ways if struck hard and hits a hard object , like a tree.
In the sport of golf, a player hits the ball with a golf club.

There is such thing as team golf, though it usually isn't termed that. There are scrambles, best ball tournaments, alternative shots, and then golf teams. Scramble is when there is a group of usually 4 and every person hits from as respective place. Then, once everyone has hit, they walk to the ball that lies in the best position and everyone hits from that ball. They do this repeatedly every whole and record the score. Best ball is when each player plays their own ball, but then records the best score of whomever scores the best. Alternative shot is usually played in a twosome and is when one player hits a shot, and the next shot is hit by the other player. Golf team is usually found in high school and college where every person plays their own ball, but at the end of the round, they total a certain number of scores.
Simply, the ball must come to rest at the bottom of the cup for the ball to be holed.
All things being equal, the bat, the ball, the force used etc., the same thing that happens when a boy hits a ball with a bat.
Depends how you hit it
Where do you play golf? The wild west. If a ball at rest is moved by the tumble weed, there is no penalty and the ball must be replaced. If the ball is moving and the tumble weed hits it, there is again no penalty but you must play the ball as it lies.
