they got a brick tied to them or a chair and they had there hands and legs tied up and if they drowned they weren't a witch but if they floated or stayed alive they were
sometimes they were hung, but others just were let off because people decided they weren't witches. also they said a witch could never perfecly recite the lord's prayer.
