Maryse Ouellet is currently out to recover from surgery on right knee-cap from an injury she initially received in her first match after becoming Diva's Champion in December of 2008. She put off the surgery due to the fact that if she were out for the three months of required physical therapy while holding the title, the WWE would be forced to take the title away from her. Now that she isn't champion anymore, she can finally get the surgery she has needed for months.

At Night of Champions Maryse competed against Mickie James which Mickie did her DDT to Maryse which let Mickie won but when Mickie gave Maryse the DDT she injured her shoulder which is why she isn't here I don't Know when shes coming back? Maryse had knee surgery after her match with Mickie James at Night of Champions. Maryse is currently taking a hiatus from WWE to recover from her knee surgery.
