I am not familiar with any, or have come across the Richfield Gasoline baseball guide. Advertising premiums related to baseball is common among Oil & Gas companies. Like the tobacco, and gum companies along with many other business' using America's past time to promote their product is very successful. One of the more popular vintage Oil & Gas/ baseball promotions was the ESSO boy's club endorsed by Babe Ruth. (Link below) Oil & Gas or "Petroliana" memorabilia is very popular, and finding gas station antique collectors is a click away on the inter-net. The Richfield Gasoline baseball guide would be a cross collectible appealing to both the Baseball memorabilia, and "Petroliana" collector. You might have better luck finding information, from one of the many Oil & Gas Petroliana websites. Find a site that has a message board and post for information. As a baseball collectible the content of any popular teams or players will determine the value. Baseball schedules or "guides" put out by companies like sporting goods companies, and even banks, or beverage companies do very well on the collectors market. If you have this publication send me more details and I might be able to help you out. You waited for an answer long enough.

You must remember that (in tank) fuel pumps get lubricated by gasoline. If you run out of gas and keep trying to start the car with no gas in the tank....then the fuel pump is spinning without lubrication. So the pump can lock up. I see that occasionally here at my shop. However, if you put in enough gas to submerse the pump then beat on the gas tank with a baseball bat then the pump will sometimes free up and work again. If your gas tank has been empty for a week but you havent been trying to start the car with no gas in the tank then you will probably be ok. If you ran the car out of gas and kept trying to start it then the car sat for a week, then you may have problems. It all depends on the conditions that caused your empty tank and what you did after you ran the car out of gas.
It is a gas.
