someone obviously did your head gasket wrong. if it's a 3.1, did they bleed air from system using the valve on coolant rail. this can cause air trapped in the system to boil the coolant.
Are you sure that isn't antifreeze and if so that would indicate the radiator is defective. There is a transmission oil cooler in the radiator.
you open the plastic bottle and pour in the antifreeze
Antifreeze has to be put in at the overflow bottle.
in the expansion bottle
Please restate your question as I do not understand what you mean. What bottle are you talking about that you poured the antifreeze in? A few drops leak where, from the bottle?
Put the balloon in the bottle with the blowing up part out and blow it up in the bottle.
In the bottle that has the radiator cap on it.
you need to oper the bottle and a start blowing
I changed the antifreeze in my bike and according to the manual, it says to add only through the port under the seat. That port goes to the overflow bottle underneath. There seems to be no siphon to draw it into the radiator. I know this because I rode the bike until the coolant light came on. Checked the bottle and it was still loaded with antifreeze. Only other was I can think to add it is to remove the hose about the radiator and add directly to the radiator. In the meantime I have more that I need in the over flow bottle. It does drain out to the ground if you try to add more than it has capacity for.
Yes
In the plastic bottle on the inner fender.
You remove the cap and pour it into the coolant bottle.
