That's incorrect. It stands for total(as in rebounds, points, shot attempts/made...etc) depending on the type of stat (player or team), the category you're looking at, and the layout of the stat sheet. On some stat sheets, I think I remember it meaning turnover total, but I'm not sure as of now.

TOT TD means Total Touchdown. This is used for players who had TDs in multiple ways. For example, 1 rushing TD and 1 receiving TD = 2 TOT TD or 2 rushing TDs and 1 punt return TD = 3 TOT TD.
