It's from a Neil Young song I think.

I forget the name...it's relatively recent, not Le Noise, but maybe the one before it. Chrome Dreams II, the album is called. It's a long fifteen minute long song and he sings different verses about different kinds of people..."Ordinary People", it's called...if my memory serves me well. And at one point he says something about out on the railroad track their shining old number nine, and in the background Neil says in a separate track "She's a beauty, that number nine."
