Usually anywhere from two inches (small leap) to 6 feet (large). The Russian ballet has male dancers who jump 15 feet
Ballet is a very common style of dancing which requires theability to be very light on your feet and to be able to move gracefully. Usually the dancers will be wearing leotards or often in a girls case a tutu.
it is how music works beneath the feet of the dancers. Kirov ballets are beautiful!
Ballet involves graceful movements of the body and the use of facial expressions to portray a story. Ballet involves lots of jumping and turning, but also a lot of slow balancing and lithe movements. Male ballet dancers usually do a lot of the jumping and fast movements as they require maximum strength, and females usually do the more graceful things. Female dancers also dance en pointe which is where the end of the shoe and the sole of the shoe are hardened so that the dancer can balance on the very ends of their toes. This takes strength in the feet and legs and also good balance, along with years of training. Ballet is one of the hardest things that people can do, but the best ballet dancers make it look easy. That is why there is a common misconception that ballet is easy, and many people think it is rubbish. Only the smarter ones know the true brilliance of a ballet dancer. Ballet is only painful when you turn your feet out to much, or are trying to lift your leg higher. Sometimes it can hurt if one knee or ankle is growing faster than the other. That tends to happen a lot to dancers, at least in my class.
To answer your question, the difference between the classic ballet shoe and a pointe shoe is their overall apperance. As you may see (if you have seen them) a standard ballet shoe is rounded, and used by dancers that are trying to achieve stronger muscles in there feet. A pointe shoe has a flat tip so you are able to stand on your "tippy toes", these shoes are for dancers, who have proved they have good arch support, and muscle ability. Hope that helped!
Ballet is a beautiful yet complicated art. It is a rigorous, detailed dance form. In order to do ballet well, you have to hold in your core muscles and pull up your leg muscles. Pros make ballet look easy but it's actually very, very, very difficult. Pointe dancing (on your toes) hurts a lot at first but your feet develope strong muscles and calluses. Dancers may loose their toenails and have feet problems. But it's so worth it!well ballet originally developed in Italy during the late 1400's:) some ballet dancers names are Anna pavlona, margot fonteyn, and darcy bussel:) hope i gave you some good info:) and in my opinion my favorite ballet dancer is Anna pavlona:) she is a huge inspiration:)it Anna PAVLOVA like the desert it actually named after her because it lite and delicate
ballerinas don't have special bumps on their feet or anything they are not chosen by their feet type they have normal feet like any other person maybe a few blisters here and there in fact some dancers even have flat feet (they have no arch)
No
The ballet position in which the heels on both feet are touching is called first position.
In medical terms, a person who works with feet is a podiatrist. Of course, your question as phrased could also be about ballet dancers. They work with their feet. There is also a martial art based on kick boxing.
Do by pre-ballet you mean pre-pointe? Because Pre-Pointe is the lesson that is provided to Pointe ballet dancers that are not yet ready to wear or perform in pointe shoes. Commonly the class is the same if not similar to regular pointe class, the only difference is that the dancer wears regular ballet shoes and performs on demi pointe. Basically, pre-pointe is the class that readies your feet and legs for the strength and skill needed to perform in Pointe Shoes.
